Quality Assurance Executive
Requirements:-
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building or Quantity Surveying
Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction related field
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills
Responsibilities:-
To assist the Quality Assurance Manager in advising the Head of Project Construction and Tender Committee on the performance of appointed contractors and suppliers in the areas of workmanship, material and management quality
To conduct internal sample audits for all projects in accordance to ISO 9001 System Requirements
To conduct Construction Quality Assessment on materials & workmanship to comply with CONQUAS’s requirements
To report on any non-conformity detected from internal audits of projects for review and to determine the causes and appropriate action(s) to be taken to address the non-conformity and the appropriate follow-up to ensure they do not recur
To review the effectiveness of Corrective Actions (CA) taken for future project / quality improvements
To monitor and measure the implementation of Quality System (including compilation and analysis of results) and sampling audits to the standards requirements
To provide in-house training on CONQUAS assessment to Supervisors (C&S, Architectural, M&E and External works)
Assisting Quality Assurance Manager in conducting a quality review & project post-mortem on completed projects and identify areas for improvement
To evaluate and identify the causes of common defects found on the completed projects upon completion, handover stage and during Defects Liability Period (DLP) and to propose appropriate Preventive Action(s) (PA) for future projects improvements
